Livonias mission is to produce students who meet the following proficiencies:

The Livonia Junior High Library opened in January 2002 as part of the new Junior High building.The 2700 sq. ft. facility includes a library office, AV storage room, and sixteen student computer workstations as well as teaching, reading, and research areas. |

| The library is open from 7:15AM to 3:15PM, Monday through Friday. Students must have a library pass during class periods. There are two types of passes: | |

| Homework that does not need the use of library resources is expected to be done in study hall. | |

Students may check out a maximum of three materials. If students have any overdues their borrowing privileges will be suspended until overdues are returned or compensated for.

| The library is automated using the Follett system for the online catalog, circulation and library management. Sixteen student computer work stations offer access to the catalog, internet and various databases that are subscribed to through LCS or Genesee Valley BOCES (see online databases). Library computers are part of the district wide network and are able to be used for word processing and other multimedia activities if they are not being used for library research purposes. |
