Communications

Throughout the year there will be many communications regarding concerts, practice club, upcoming events as well as report cards and notes if a problem develops.

HORNBLOWERS

These are the notices you will see most often. Hornblowers generally contain concert details and/or other  information which I feel is important or may be helpful to you. I hand these out in band with the direction that each student needs to share it with their family. Please look through your child's band folder periodically, just in case they've forgotten to show you the latest one.

                 These Hornblowers will also be available on our website for 
                 viewing or download. Click here if you wish to
                 automatically receive the most current Hornblower.

Report Cards

Your child will be receiving 3 report cards from me. These reports will reflect not only how they are progressing musically on their instrument; but also, attendance and homework completion. I hope to have these available electronically as well. (I am, perhaps a bit too optimistic - but I'll try!) 

OTHER COMMUNICATIONS

Occasionally, if a problem develops, I will send home an "I am Concerned" notice which specifies what the problem is and how we can help your child get back on track.  I ask that you read, sign and then return this sheet to me before the indicated date.
