It’s Scholastic Book Fair time! There will be hundreds of picture books, easy readers, chapter books, non-fiction books and craft kits for sale in the Primary School Library on October 21st and October 22nd. We will have two afternoon shopping times, and one evening shopping time. One big change: this year, students will not be able to bring orders for Book Fair items to school to be filled. But we will have three times for parents to shop! The funds we raise pay for new library materials, and for special programs such as Reading for Pizza and our Dr. Seuss Read Across America celebration. Children in grades 1-3 will have time during the school day to browse at the fair with their classes, and to make a ‘wish list’ with the help of our parent volunteers. |
